What is a martini? Let me help you learn about the marvelous martini. A classic martini has 2 ingredients: gin and vermouth. The classic martini is dry, meaning that it isn’t sweet. (Not fret yet, we have tons of sweet martinis below for you)

Over the years, people have switched the gin out with vodka, added splashes of liqueurs, and made a whole new revolution of martini recipes. (Though technically if the martini has vodka in it, it’s now a vodka martini)

Some people think that simply throwing any co*cktail recipe in a martini glass makes it a martini, but as far as this gal is concerned to be labeled a “martini” you easy martini recipes have to at least have gin or vodka in them.

Otherwise, it’s just an imposter in a martini glass! (I’m onto you all you martini fakers out there!)

Before we get started, what exactly do you need to make easy martini recipes? Here are some of my favorite must-haves to make the best martinis ever! It won’t break the bank to get your martini recipe habit going!

One of the most fun things about making easy martini recipes is the fact that you can get really creative with the garnishes. (That’s where you put stuff on the rim of the glass or in the drink, just in case you didn’t know)

You can garnish your favorite martinis with simple fruits on a co*cktail stirrer, or drizzle some caramel or chocolate sauce on the rim! It’s part of the martini making process where you can get really creative, and it makes your martinis look even more delicious.

Don’t get overwhelmed when serving your martinis, just have FUN with it! Don’t try to be perfect, if your martini looks like a 3 year old did it, blame it on the 3 year old (if you have one). I’m always poking jokes at myself when I’m creating new recipes if they don’t turn out as planned.
