A kiss that told them both just how much they truly loved each other at this moment, even without them having to say a word to each other.
Fortunately, it didn’t matter to Annabeth that Leo currently tasted like her puss* as their lips danced from one kiss to the next. The only thing that did matter to her right now was the fact that he was waking her up in such a way, allowing her to properly enjoy her morning as much as she could before they were forced to shelve their relationship. Though, in the back of her mind, she was wondering if she should just break up with Percy so that she could be with Leo.
Unfortunately, just as the thought was crossing her mind, the morning gong shocked the both of them out of their lust and love for each other. Leo immediately jumped off of her and looked around for the clock he had in the bunker, knowing that it was already early enough that the two of them should be in their dorms. Annabeth, on the other hand, could only let out a heavy sigh as disappointment filled her, knowing that this might be the end of what the two of them shared.
But as soon as Leo looked down at her to speak, she simply grabbed his arm and pulled him back into a loving and lingering kiss. “If we get caught… f*ck it. We can’t stay here or we’d get in even more trouble. But let’s not rush and try to keep this hidden. Okay?~”
Leo couldn’t help but nod his head and give her another kiss. “Yeah. I was thinking about that before I fell asleep last night. Percy and Calypso will be here soon. So, we can get to the bottom of things then.”

It didn’t take too long for the two of them to make their way out of the bunker, giving a quick peek around to check and see if anyone was looking for them. Fortunately, they didn’t see a single person looking at the entrance to the bunker as Leo and Annabeth stepped out. And with a smile on their faces, the two of them shared a quick kiss before Leo started to make his way back to the cabins first. However, he stopped only a few feet away from Annabeth before turning around and looking into her eyes.
“Hey, Annabeth?”
Annabeth looked right back at Leo, wondering just what he was going to say to her. “What is it, Leo? We’re already running late.”
“I’m always going to be here for you, no matter what happens. Whether you split with Percy, whether you say with him and we push this to the side for a bit, or whether we even just lay low and try to make sure no one knows about this. I’m going to be here for you. You’ve got my word.”
Annabeth couldn’t stop herself from smiling and nodding her head before watching Leo run off and make his way to his cabin. If they had timed things right, even if someone had come looking for them, no one would be able to claim they were both in the bunker together. “Such a dork… How did I fall in love with someone like you? I don’t know how you got me wrapped around your finger, but I’m glad that I am.”

Unknown to both Leo and Annabeth, Piper was able to see them, both stepping out of the bunker. She had a feeling that something was up based on how Annabeth was acting the last few days. But to see them actually together like this, it was a surprise to say the least. And to make the connection that Annabeth was actively cheating on Percy with Leo, who was known to be in love with Calypso. She just didn’t understand at first.
However, when Piper was able to see the two of them telling each other their goodbyes, it became a bit more clear. Leo clearly cared about Annabeth. He was here for her. He was right there when she needed someone. And Percy was away doing who knows what. While Calypso might not know that Leo was keeping Annabeth company, he was at least being someone that was here for her. So while Piper didn’t understand why Annabeth didn’t just break up with Percy, she understood just why she would devote her love and attention to Leo. Especially after seeing them so caring and happy together.
“Well, I suppose I’ll keep my mouth shut about it. They can handle any drama they would get into. I’m just happy to see her happy again."
