I need to let people who live in Gig Harbor know about an experience I just had. I just went to get my eyebrows done, and when I walked in to the wax room, there was a group of women standing around and when I walked closer one of the employee women said “Oh wow!” And then they kept talking at pointing and laughing at me, and the woman doing my brows said “Oh mommy, stop it” while still laughing and talking to each other. I honestly don’t know what was said about me, but it made me extremely uncomfortable. I told her at the end that I won’t be coming back in because of how that made me feel, and all she said was “Oh ok, sorry.” I feel like a place meant to help make people look and feel their best should be held to higher standards. I don’t feel like people should get a free pass to make fun of others just because there is the potential of them not understanding you. So, just a fair warning to all that may not be the place to go get your nails/brows done... Read Less

I have never had an issue with the people here or the way they've done my nails. Other places, I've had a bunch of problems because I like the stiletto shape. But the ladies who've done my nails there have been amazing and very attentive to making sure I am getting what I want. I even took my friend there and she took me that she wants to go back to get her fill there but it was too late by the time she got off work. I haven't gotten art done on my nails in a really long time but from seeing the woman who was getting hand drawn art done, I think they do a fantastic job with that as well and wouldn't mind having it done one day. They aren't super expensive either, even though the work they do is better than a lot I've gotten done at expensive places. I recommend this place even if you're not in the area. I live in Tacoma. But am totally willing to go over there. Read Less

Today, the girl who did my pedicure was a little speedy, it seemed, and shucks, I could have painted my toenails better. Also, now that I'm in my car and my feet are dry, I'm seeing a TON of peeling skin that really should have come off when she was working on my feet. I always come to G Nails for my pedicures since I get maybe three a year, and thus far, this salon has been very consistent. That said, last time I came in to get a set of gels, they were mediocre, and I am extremely disappointed with this pedicure, so I likely won't be back. Read Less

Great Pedicure. Definitely can work on customer service tho. I got this feeling that making an appt for the deluxe pedicure did not matter much. When I got in the pedicure chair , they still had no idea that my appt was for this. My husband gave me bday present for this particular service. It was disappointing because she had already started my pedicure and had to stop multiple times and walk away to get all the necessary items for the deluxe pedicure. I got this feeling like people are shuffled in and out of there as fast as possible. I have come to the conclusion that it is not relaxing to go to a nail salon and listen to all the employees speak their native language in front of others. The manicure was one of the worst I have had. The weirdest part was when it was time for my arms to be massaged, she started using a certain "cupping" type technique, but it was so rough and in my personal space and then she started massaging my spine so she was way to into my personal space and she was actually massaging the spine, not the muscles on either side. I don't think I have ever experienced a massage like that from the front except from my husband. No thanks. I will keep searching..... Read Less

This is by far the best nail salon I have been to in this area. I have tried dozens of different places in Kitsap County, Seattle, Bellevue, Tacoma, and Issaquah, and this place beats them all by far. The owner is amazing, she is the nicest person and always remembers me and details about me no matter how long it's been since I was last in there. They do an excellent job; I always get a gel manicure and a regular pedicure and both always turn out great. If you are unhappy, they are happy to redo it. I will say, my only complaint is that they do not do your manicure and pedicure at the same time unless you ask, and even when you ask and it doesn't seem too crazy busy, they still might not be able to do it. I always ask when I call to see if they have time and then remind them when I get there. Otherwise, this is literally the only place I have been to where my gel manicure lasts at least 14 days - when the owner does it, I almost get 3 weeks out of it! She's phenomenal! I drive all the way from the Poulsbo area just to get my nails done here because everywhere around here is more expensive and does a terrible job compared to G Nails! Read Less

Came to visit my sister and had a girls day at the salon. Lam took her time and did an excellent job on my gel manicure. She was able to see a picture I provided and replicate an exact version. My 5 yr old daughter also received stellar service by Kim. She was able to decorate her tiny nails with a delicate flower on each nail. Very pleased with the nail techs here. Normally I go to a full service spa salon for my mani/pedis but I was going on vacation and they could not accommodate my schedule. Based on Yelp reviews, I selected G Nails. The Mani/pedi was a good value. The girls were friendly but they had a full on conversation in their native language as they did my nails. If that is something that bothers you, then I do not recommend this salon. Also, the next morning, I had a three inch by two inch very ugly bruise on my arm from where the girl massaged too hard. I was going to a wedding two days later so this ended up being quite unsightly. It's been one week and it has still not faded much. Be sure to speak up if you feel the massage is too deep. Read Less

I didn't feel rushed, thanks for the great customer service. and thank you for taking care of my daughter who is going through chemo and the pedicure was very relaxing:) I have gone to a few nail "spas"-in silverdale and it was one of the worse experience they did a 10 min pedi and I paid the same price as your spa. I've had so many horror stories with my nails over the years. I don't have that here! Their customer service is spot on. They always welcome you, remember you, and ask how you are. I get gel color on acrylic all the time and they've always come out vibrant and matching in length. They don't glob on the acrylic either so you don't end up with "fat" nails if that makes sense. They look natural honestly! Each time I've gone I get a small hand massage and arm massage with lotion as well. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area who needs their nails done! I came from Tiny Nails and I was so disappointed with their poor customer service after we experienced two BIG mistakes.... So it was so nice to come to G Nails and Spa and receive the total opposite :) They were so attentive and lovely. The workmanship far exceeds that of all others and they actually listened to me. The spa pedicure was incredible and my acrylic nails finally look pretty. I could not be more happier with our new nail home. We will only be going to G Nails and Spa for now on! G-nails is a nice looking salon and from being in the beauty industry I can tell they follow all the safety and sanitation laws.. but customer service is everything in the industry. Customer service is what they are lacking. Everytime I go in and get my nails filled I use black acrylic powder and they never understand that and talk down to me. I wants to try a new nail shape "coffin" shape. Its all over pintrest, I tried it myself it was pretty cute, when I went in the nail tech asked me what happened to my nails and how terrible they looked. I was only in for a repair and I come out with a crooked nail and upset. As I was leaving I didnt even get a thank you come again. Read Less
