I’m new to Gig Harbor and this salon was recommended by a close friend. The first stylist that I was scheduled with (7/6 at 1 p.m.) passed me off to another stylist by the name of Mandy because she was cranky, overwhelmed or something. I got zero explanation from her other than she needs me to bring a picture in order to do my hair. I chalked it up to inexperience and maybe a bad day, but now I’m super grateful to her because Mandy was experienced, personable, and less expensive than the first stylist (based on her written quote) who fell apart on me. I was looking for someone with confidence who could resurrect my dated look and Mandy was phenomenal! The 4 star review is for the first 40 minutes I wasted, otherwise it would have been 5 stars, but Mandy really saved the day and I can’t wait to come back!

They’re amazing. Shawna Shelton has had me on Jan Marini since I was 21 years old. I’m 40 and everyone thinks I’m 30. I have no crows feet bc of eye cream. My skin is very sensitive and have bad acne. But the collagen induction treatment have significantly reduced scarring. My skin is smooth and glows.

My dearest friend had the most horrific experience ever in her life at Studio Six on Monday (October 17, 2022). She has been a loyal customer for over two years with this hair shop, but on Monday she was thrown out of the place by her hairdresser, Mandy because she requested to have her hair appointment pushed up an hour. Amber the partial owner had already taken my friend’s money for a haircut and color. My friend offered to pay for any inconveniences due to schedule changes; however, Mandy just had a fit and told her to leave. The partial owner, Amber was aware of the situation and did nothing. Reached out to speak with Amber several times; however, there has been no explanations or apologies for Mandy’s behavior. LADIES, be aware of the unprofessional behaviors of the staff and owners. They are not the only hair salons in Gig Harbor. Social media can be quite a nightmare for a small business.

I came to Studio Six for the first time yesterday and had a lovely experience. Staff were friendly and kind. I had my 95 yr old mom with me and they took good care of her while I had my foil/trim which by the way Sunny did expertly. I’m working toward repairing years of bad color to get back to my natural color and she listened and was super knowledgeable. Great stylist, great place, safe protocols!

From the start, Sunny explained everything she was doing and was extremely helpful. Within the first few minutes of being there, I learned more about my hair and how to take care of it than I have ever learned in my adult life! I’m not the type to go to salons often, and I’m usually intimidated by the idea… but a I felt totally at home there and welcomed. The hairstylist listened to my request and gave me exactly what I wanted.I would give more than five stars if I had the option! The entire staff was super kind and friendly. I got a haircut at Studio Six today, and I have never been so happy with a simple haircut. From the start, Sunny explained everything she was doing and was extremely helpful. First of all they follow all of the states recommended covid regulations, so you never feel at risk. The salon is absolutely beautiful and clean. The staff is welcoming and very knowledgeable. Today I was able to have the full spa experience and let me tell you how wonderful it was! First of all they follow all of the states recommended covid regulations, so you never feel at risk.
